![]() ![]() While Visual Pinball on a PC is amazing and you can play just about any table created or imagined, it demands a serious video card. The reasons to pursue Android pinball are strong. For me, this means a cocktail arcade cabinet + Pinball. All adapters, boxes, and sticks think you are going to play on a typical TV and they do not take into account anyone wanting to turn a TV on its side! A secondary goal is to reduce the need for keyboard, mouse, and gamepad to be replaced by just a set of arcade buttons, or Arcade Joystick+buttons if you want to also play emulators or other games. Playing on a landscape or horizontally oriented TV is easy, but if you want to play on a vertically oriented monitor (portrait) things get challenging. Why? Because you can put Android on a ten-year old laptop and get comparable graphics and gameplay to a modern budget computer. The goal is to build a cheap pinball cabinet using android. ![]() This question was posted two years ago, but I am posting the reply I would have liked to see when I started this quest a year ago. ![]()
